Academic Integrity Violations Policy

The journal considers all reports of possible violations of academic integrity and publication ethics in accordance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors and co-authors are fully responsible for adhering to these principles.
The journal’s editorial board considers complaints about plagiarism, falsification of data, double or multiple publication, violations of authorship (inclusion or exclusion of authors without their consent), non-compliance with the review procedure, conflict of interest, as well as unethical behavior.
Filing a complaint. The complaint is submitted in electronic form to the editorial office or responsible persons of the journal. It must be clear, substantiated, contain evidence of the possible violation and contact details of the complainant.
The editor-in-chief or an authorized member of the editorial board conducts a preliminary review of the complaint within 10 working days. If necessary, the applicant may be asked to provide additional information. If the complaint is found to be justified, further verification is initiated.
The review is carried out by the editorial board of the journal within a period of up to 2 months. If necessary, independent experts may be involved in the review.
The person against whom the complaint has been filed has the right to:
• familiarize themselves with the review materials;
• submit comments and explanations (oral and/or written) or refuse to provide them;
• participate in the consideration of evidence;
• be present during the consideration of the issue of establishing the fact of violation and making a decision.
If the violation is confirmed, the following measures may be applied:
• rejection of the manuscript or withdrawal of the published article;
• publication of an official notification of the violation;
• informing the institution with which the author is affiliated;
• restriction of the right to submit manuscripts to the journal for a specified period.
The person against whom the complaint has been filed has the right to submit a reasoned objection or appeal the decision of the editorial board in accordance with the established procedure.
